Prices

A network of terminals is identified by one common instanceId (assigned by Logos).

Hierarchy

  • A Location can contain one or more Terminals.
  • Each Terminal belongs to exactly one Location.
  • Each Terminal can control one or more dispensers.

Pricing logic

The final price for a product is the sum of three components:

Final price = List Price + Location Price + Terminal Price

List Price is the reference price for the instance as a whole and cannot be negative. Location Price and Terminal Price are adjustments on top of it, and can be positive or negative. Setting List Price to zero lets Location Price or Terminal Price control the absolute price directly.

Supported pricing components

This API supports List Prices: create, read, update, and delete prices for an instance as a whole, and Location Prices: create, read, update, and delete prices for a specific location.

Terminal Prices are not yet supported by this API and must be configured manually in Logos Connect.

There's also a send-prices endpoint, which marks all terminals for the instance as needing a price update on their next poll. For the update to actually reach a terminal, a physical terminal must be set up and polling in your environment.
